Prince Edward County has so much to offer visitors looking for relaxation, outdoor recreation, history, art, food and of course, wine.
Beaches and trails
Visit Sandbanks Provincial Park for sandy beaches, or head to the rocky shores of Little Bluff and North Beach. Cycle and snowmobile along The Millennium Trail, or hike and ski through Sandbanks Park.
Wine, cider and beer
Over 40 wineries and a growing craft beer and cider industry make for a true tasting experience. Book a wine tour or visit during one of several tasting events held every year.
Art and music
The County offers a wide range of local art and entertainment. At The Local Store, you can see a wide range of locally-made products all under one roof, and Base31 hosts live music and events.
History
Picton’s many museums offer an insight into the Loyalist history of the area. There are also several events celebrating local history throughout the summer.
Birding
Prince Edward County is on the path of a large bird migratory route. Spring and fall are busy times at the Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory, where you’ll spot everything from songbirds to hawks.
