Beaches and trails

Visit Sandbanks Provincial Park for sandy beaches, or head to the rocky shores of Little Bluff and North Beach. Cycle and snowmobile along The Millennium Trail, or hike and ski through Sandbanks Park.

Picton’s many museums offer an insight into the Loyalist history of the area. There are also several events celebrating local history throughout the summer.

Prince Edward County is on the path of a large bird migratory route. Spring and fall are busy times at the Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory, where you’ll spot everything from songbirds to hawks.
